Intro: Safety Vision LLC entered the law enforcement market in 2004 and has since earned a solid reputation by providing law enforcement professionals with rugged and reliable video capture and management systems.

Included in this product array are in-car video systems, including patrol cameras, mics, and mobile DVRs, as well as body worn cameras. To guarantee customer satisfaction, our knowledgeable customer support network is available to provide expert installation, product training, and troubleshooting for departments. Our compact mobile video solutions capture  high-quality, unbiased records of events that can reduce false complaints by citizens, reinforce professional conduct and officer accountability, corroborate stories and document sequences of events, create indisputable and court-admissible evidence, and simplify management of video and audio data.

What was the inspiration behind starting your company?
Safety Vision, LLC emerged from a simple idea - utilizing new video technology to help ensure the safety of the general public.

Why do you believe your products are beneficial to the police community?
Our products have a range of benefits from simply vindicating officers in the face of false allegations to the extreme of documenting then prosecuting criminals that have assaulted officers.

What has been the biggest challenge your company has faced?
Trying to keep up with the demand!

What makes your company unique?
Apart from police, Safety Vision caters to four other key industries – mass transit, pupil transportation, first response, and work/transportation trucks. Through these distinct industry lenses, Safety Vision has incorporated its purposes into a unique multi-industry vision. Basically, innovations within one vertical spark ideas within another.

What do your customers like best about your products?
Our customers value our quality products and service. Our picture resolution is clearer, our systems are more compact (one of the smallest footprints in the market), our rate of failure is almost non-existent, and our reputation for customer satisfaction is spot-on.

What is the most rewarding part of serving the first responder community?
Our customers regularly share video footage of on-duty encounters that were captured on their Safety Vision product. I believe customers want to share this footage with us because our product has helped them in a meaningful way. That is a rewarding feeling.

What’s next for your company? Any upcoming new projects or initiatives?
Our company is looking forward to contributing and experiencing the current quasi-revolution in policing fueled by body cameras.  Body worn cameras have swiftly taken the spotlight with good reason – they work. As we continue down our path of improving in-car video systems, it will be possible to further incorporate body cameras into the police safety equation. The prospects are exciting.
